About Vietnamese Students Association at Curtin (VSAC)

Welcome to the Vietnamese Students Association at Curtin (VSAC) — a student-led community open to both Vietnamese and international students who are interested in Vietnamese culture, connection, and student life.

VSAC brings Vietnamese culture into everyday student experiences in a natural and approachable way. Through food, shared conversations, cultural celebrations, and social events, we create opportunities for students to explore Vietnamese culture while building genuine connections with one another.

For international students, VSAC offers a chance to experience Vietnamese culture beyond surface-level stereotypes. For Vietnamese students, it is a space to reconnect with familiar traditions and share them with a wider community.

What you can experience at VSAC

At VSAC events, you can expect to:

  • Connect with students from different cultural backgrounds

A welcoming student community

Beyond cultural activities, VSAC focuses on creating a supportive and inclusive environment where students feel comfortable being themselves. Whether you are new to Curtin, curious about Vietnamese culture, or simply looking to meet new people, VSAC offers a relaxed space to connect, learn, and belong.

We value authenticity, inclusivity, and respect, and we aim to design events that feel friendly, informal, and open to everyone — regardless of background or cultural knowledge.
